We scan Twitter to see what is trending for the RSA Conference.

innvationsandbox

We decided to see what companies are the hottest based on Twitter search results. We selected the ten finalists for the RSA Innovation Sandbox and did a Twitter search for the name of each company. Our expectation is that the winner will be one of the companies with the most buzz on Twitter. We only say that as it appears these companies are also receiving the most attention in the blogosphere and some of the larger media establishments. Awards will be announced Monday, April 20 at the conference.

Here’s a simple screencast to show the results of our search. We were surprised by the lack of Twitter activity for most of these companies. Of the ten finalists, six had no Twitter presence for their company name.

This just in from the BBC web site, Symantec have identified a virus that steals user names and passwords, nothing new there.
