*Director of Marketing

Seeking individual to coordinate all marketing-related aspects of new Web 2.0 online application, in beta testing and currently scheduled for official launch in early 2010.

Candidate will have a strong background in and understanding of marketing campaigns, from positioning to branding to various forms of advertising, including web-based and viral campaigns. Experience in Social Networking apps is a real plus, but not absolutely required. More importantly, this person will have a solid understanding of the various elements that make up a product market launch (ideally a software product) and ongoing marketing campaign(s).

This job is ideal for a person who LOVES marketing and can go to town with a very exciting opportunity introducing a very timely and relevant online application. Candidate must be a self-starter, experienced with developing the creative side of marketing and also able to productively direct others in the related activities, including media buys, graphic arts, planning, etc. Ability to be nimble and quickly responsive to changing variables a plus. Ability to work well with others on a small team is a must.

Position is on a mostly full-time contract-basis for the next 3 months and then could turn into a full-time employee position upon success of the various projects being worked on. Equity participation potential upon achievement of defined milestones.

*Project Manager

Seeking individual to manage several project areas for a small online software developer. Areas of responsibility will include (1) managing a small group of alpha and Beta customers through the testing and evaluation process for a Web 2.0 application, (2) learning and managing a CRM software implementation with our sales team, (3) managing an ongoing vendor recognition program, and (4) assisting the technology team as a part-time Product Manager.

Experience in online social media applications and product management would be very helpful, though not absolutely required. Ability to successfully wear different hats, learn quickly and be a self-starter while working with a small, nimble team is essential. Ideally, this candidate is proficient at basic office programs (MS Office, Quickbooks, Adobe, or Mac equivalents, etc.) and is well-organized. Good people skills are essential.
